Describe Alder Hey Children’s Charity in 3 words.

What’s one item that you can’t live without?
I recently bought a really good pillow and it’s a game changer!
What is the best thing about working at Alder Hey?
No two days are the same.
As we’re based on site, we also get to see the difference that our fundraising makes to the patients; it’s quite a privileged position to be in and massively motivating.
Tell us something not many people know about you.
Last year I was in the top 0.01% of Dolly Parton listeners in the country according to Spotify!
If you had a superpower, what would it be and why?
I think I would like to be able to teleport myself anywhere and everywhere. My family live over 200 miles away, so I’d love to just drop in for a cup of tea without the long drive. This means I could also spend the afternoon lying on a beach somewhere hot, or see friends that live abroad more easily. That would be the dream!
What fundraising events do you look forward to the most?
It’s got to be the Dragon Boat Festival! We’ve seen this event grow over the years, and the energy brought to the day by all the participants and their supporters is quite overwhelming. I want to make the event memorable, and the best it can be for everyone taking part.
