Grand National Raffle winner enjoys star-studded day!

There was plenty to celebrate recently as Ward 3B nurse Susan enjoyed a truly unforgettable day at the Grand National, after winning Alder Hey Children’s Charity’s latest raffle prize.
Susan was the lucky winner of our Grand National Raffle prize draw, securing not only two VIP tickets to one of the UK’s most iconic sporting events, but also an exclusive VIP experience meeting former Grand National-winning jockey and Alder Hey Charity Champion, Sir AP McCoy.
Reflecting on her win, Susan said: “It was an absolutely incredible experience from start to finish. The atmosphere was amazing, and meeting Sir AP McCoy was a real highlight, I’ll never forget it.”
From the electric energy of race day to the once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to meet a racing legend, the prize offered a truly special experience and a memorable way to celebrate her win.
