Alder Hey Children’s Charity is delighted to announce the launch of the March 50K, a challenge that will bring incredible like-minded supporters together, all driven by the shared goal of making a difference for the brave patients and families at Alder Hey Children’s Hospital.

The challenge is simple: over the month of March, we want you to move 50km to raise vital funds that will help to support patients and families at our hospital. Whether you decide to walk, run, cycle or swim, as long as you’re moving, it all counts towards your goal!

The money raised from the challenge will support our MediCinema Appeal, which is raising funds to support the installation and running costs of a state-of-the-art cinema in our very own hospital. The cinema will provide patients, along with their family and friends, the opportunity for respite from the worries of hospital life and give long-term patients the opportunity to experience an activity that they miss out on whilst they are in hospital.

Those who take on the challenge will join our private Facebook event group and connect with likeminded individuals all set to support each other and raise crucial funds for Alder Hey. By bringing our wonderful community together in this way, we hope to raise an incredible amount for our appeal, whilst encouraging our supporters to get out, get moving and inspire each other along the way.
