Darts star Stephen Bunting visits Alder Hey!
This week, we were delighted to welcome professional darts player Stephen Bunting to Alder Hey. Ranked among the world’s top 10 and originally from Merseyside, Stephen was back in Liverpool for the latest fixture in the Premier League Darts.
It only seemed right that a friendly game of magnetic darts was on the agenda during his visit to Ward 4A, with Stephen taking on Joshua in a match that brought plenty of smiles, alongside a few top technique tips from the pro himself.
Stephen also popped in to meet one of the ward’s youngest patients, weeks-old Wilfred from Stoke, and his family. Huge darts fans, the family was thrilled when Stephen made the moment even more special with a video call to Wilfred’s family back home in Staffordshire.
