Three of Alder Hey’s Mental Health Practitioners are taking on the epic Everest Base Camp trek later this year to raise vital funds for our hospital. Emma White, Claire Austin and Megan Shutt, who work within our CAMHS (Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services) team, told us:
Claire has worked for Alder Hey for 17 years, Meg for 5 years and Emma for 3 ½ years so they have an in depth understanding of the impact that donations to our charity have for the children and young people cared for by Alder Hey Children’s Hospital.
In preparation for their once in a lifetime challenge, the intrepid trekkers are already planning their training as Claire explained:
