National Apprentice Week – Say Hello to Ria

As part of National Apprenticeship Week, Alder Hey Children’s Charity is celebrating the fantastic staff members who are also enrolled in Apprenticeship Training.

“I started my Level 3 course with the Northern Training Academy last autumn. Since then, I have been working to support the Charity’s digital and marketing channels and the training has really helped me to do that. I feel that choosing marketing as my specialism will provide me with a new and exciting career pathway which will offer endless career opportunities. Marketing and especially digital marketing is constantly evolving, and I look forward to keep abreast of the latest trends and building my skills and knowledge to take the Charity’s digital, social and web presence to the next level. I am really enjoying my apprenticeship training and looking forward to successfully passing my qualification next year”.
Steve Leonard, Head of Marketing said:
“Developing our staff to have the right digital first marketing skillset is crucial in today’s world and the apprenticeship training allows us to do just that. Ria is helping us to manage our social media platforms and is instrumental in the creation of compelling content which really helps us engage with our audiences, old and new. Ria is a great asset to our team”.
