A New Partnership for Two Liverpool Institutions
From our family to yours: Alder Hey Children’s Charity are proud to partner with another Liverpool institution – family run restaurant Casa Italia.
This winter, Alder Hey Children’s Charity is delighted to announce a new partnership with Casa Italia, raising much needed funds for the children and young people cared for by Alder Hey.
Casa Italia, one of Liverpool’s best loved restaurants is the perfect partner. Originally established in 1976, the restaurant was taken on by Mario in the 1980s. It has since passed down the family line to Mario’s son, Carlo, and is now run by Arran Luca, Mario’s grandson. Casa Italia is a true family business with strong roots in Liverpool. Over the last 48 years, they’ve seen their business (and family!) grow and are keen to support another Liverpool icon; Alder Hey.
Both Alder Hey and Casa Italia know the importance of family, which is at the heart of everything we do.
A poorly child will have a big impact on the whole family. Time in hospital often means time away from friends, school and precious family time. Our mission at Alder Hey Children’s Charity is to offer the best hospital experience possible for the children and families who need us, while receiving the world-class clinical care we are proud to be known for.
Casa Italia have been bringing families together and creating cherished memories for generations, and the team understand that you get out what you put in. They have a passion for quality ingredients and incredible service, and have staff that have been with them since day one.
Choosing to support Alder Hey is a way to extend their family values to other families going through a hard time.
“We are thrilled to be supporting Alder Hey, and the amazing work that is done there. The more we learn about Alder Hey, the more we are proud that it’s part of our city, and we are so excited to be a part of an ongoing legacy that will care for future generations.” Lucia, Social Media Manager, Casa Italia.
Both Casa Italia and Alder Hey are part of Liverpool’s past and present and through our partnership and the generosity of Casa Italia diners, we’ll be part of the future of paediatric healthcare in Liverpool and beyond.
