Mick is a familiar face at Alder Hey during the Grand National festival, from visiting patients to taking part in ward activities, he is a passionate Charity Champion. His wonderful generosity helped to create the amazing facility we have today. With his friend and fellow Charity Champion Sir AP McCoy, he also helped raise vital funds for equipment as well as activities that bring magic and laughter to our wards, through their much-loved Golf Days.
