“Our middle son Gen spent several weeks on neonatal when he was born, June 4th June, 2009. He was under the care of the surgeon Mr Turnock, and the work from both Mr Turnock and the team at Alder Hey over Gen’s first few years of life carried us through a very bleak and difficult time.

Due to the outstanding care that was provided we now have a very happy and confident son; a situation we didn’t believe possible when he was first born.

This is our small way of trying to show our gratitude for what Alder Hey did for Gen and our family.”
