Biography
| Hi, I’m Sarah, Chief Operating Officer at Alder Hey Children’s Charity. I work alongside our CEO and wider team to turn our strategy and ambitions into action, helping us work towards a healthier, happier and fairer future for every child and young person. As a Chartered Accountant, I also oversee the Charity’s finances, making sure we use the money entrusted to us responsibly and to make the greatest possible difference. What I love most about working at Alder Hey is seeing the magic that happens when people come together to make a difference. From our incredible Charity and hospital teams to our donors, families, children and young people, I feel very lucky to meet so many amazing people and see first-hand the impact their support makes. That’s why Magic is the Charity value I connect with most. Outside of work, I love travelling and spending time with my family – whether we’re exploring somewhere new, heading out for a walk or getting a little too competitive over Mario Kart! |
