Biography

Born and raised in Toxteth, Natasha Jonas is a proud Scouser.
Natasha turned to boxing in 2005 following a football injury and quickly fell in love with the sport. As an amateur, her talent led to European and World championship medals, and in 2009 Natasha became the first female British boxer in history to qualify for the Olympics.
The first woman to win the British Boxing Board of Control’s British Boxer of the Year in 2022, Natasha has helped to raise the profile of women’s professional boxing across the UK and around the world.
One of our newest Charity Champions, Natasha, shared her inspiring journey to the London 2012 Olympics with Alder Hey’s Youth Forum in January 2025. Members of the Forum put their questions to Natasha, where they discovered her top tips for looking after her mental health and how she has overcome challenges throughout her career.
