Kirsty Muir
Biography
Kirsty is a Chartered Accountant, qualifying with KPMG in Newcastle upon Tyne. During a 17 year London based career Kirsty held Finance roles with Morgan Stanley and Barclays Wealth before achieving Programme Manager accreditation at Royal Bank of Scotland while delivering complex global change initiatives. Major assignments included the integration of Dutch bank ABN AMRO and the Independent Commission on Banking structural reform. Having returned to the North West Kirsty is currently leading transformational change programmes for BAE Systems.
Since her appointment to the Board in 2019 Kirsty has chaired the Charity’s Finance, Audit & Risk Committee.
Kirsty enjoys playing tennis, travelling and, along with her son, is an avid Liverpool FC fan.
