Kim Platt

Hey, I am Kim and I have been at the Charity since Covid times and came to cover maternity leave as the Office Manager. Now six years later, I am the Director of Operations & People and love every minute of my job… well almost! My role is so varied, and you never know what each day may bring, this comes from looking after our amazing team at the Charity but also seeing and speaking to our children, young people and families and the communities we reach. Outside of work, I love to go for walks with a stop off at a coffee shop, and being in the mountains whether hiking or snowboarding, this is one of my happy places. In the summer you can usually find me in Greece, enjoying the beach, sea, and Greek food. My favourite childhood memories are with my family at our old gypsy caravan in North Wales, exploring and getting up to mischief with my sister and cousin was the highlight of the day. Together is the Charity Value I resonate with the most. I love working as part of one incredible team, we have achieved so much together already and I’m excited about what we can continue to achieve in the future.
