Jay Hynd is the founder and Managing Director of The Guide Liverpool. He started his media career at Radio City over twenty years ago and has since presented on the likes of Juice FM, Capital Radio and In Demand. He’s also worked at BBC stations across the country and is the host of some of Liverpool’s biggest events including LIMF, Pride, the Grand National Festival and more recently Eurovision.

Jay is a proud supporter of Alder Hey Children’s Charity, being from Liverpool he knows just how important the hospital and its facilities are. He champions the work we do on The Guide Liverpool, hosts our annual Christmas light-switch on, and Alder Hey is one of The Guide Liverpool’s official charities.
