| Hi, I’m Andrea, and I work in the Grants & Impact team here at Alder Hey Charity. I’ve been with the Charity since 2022, and I’m responsible for administering charitable grants that help make a real difference across the hospital. I truly love my job. It’s a real privilege to work for a charity that does so much to improve the health and wellbeing of children, young people, and their families. I’m from Manchester, but some of my happiest childhood memories involve travelling to Liverpool to catch the ferry for family holidays in Ireland. In many ways, joining Alder Hey felt like a full-circle moment, giving me the opportunity to create some of my happiest professional memories here in Liverpool too. Outside of work, I have two children who keep me happily busy. I’m particularly inspired by Alder Hey Charity’s value of Together. It’s the way every team works together, with a shared purpose, that makes our organisation such a special place to be. |
