Write your will for free

Alder Hey Children’s Charity will cover the cost of writing your Will through one of our trusted Will-writing partners. We’ve teamed up with Farewill and the National Free Wills Network to offer our supporters a free Will writing service, with expert guidance every step of the way.

Whether you’d prefer to write your Will online with Farewill, or face-to-face with a local solicitor through the National Free Wills Network (NFWN), there’s an option to suit you.

Every gift in every Will makes a difference, however large or small. Even 1% would help children at Alder Hey, and your family would still inherit 99%.

Rebecca and Tommy's Story

Tommy was just a baby when he was rushed by ambulance to Alder Hey after becoming seriously unwell. Soon after arriving, he was diagnosed with bacterial meningitis and sepsis, which was devastating news for his family.

Thankfully, Tommy had reached Alder Hey quickly. With specialist care and the right treatment, doctors were able to protect his brain from the meningitis and he began responding well to medication.

Throughout Tommy’s stay, Alder Hey’s doctors, nurses and staff supported the whole family with compassion and kindness. The nurses on Ward 4B were particularly special, even buying Tommy’s mum, Rebecca, a birthday card when she spent the day by his bedside.

Inspired by the care that saved Tommy’s life, Rebecca has pledged to leave a gift in her Will to Alder Hey Children’s Charity, helping ensure future families can receive the same extraordinary care and support when they need it most.

Alder Hey Children’s Charity, Registered Charity Number 1160661.

There is never any obligation to leave a gift in your Will.
