Join Our Step into Autumn: 150km in October Virtual Challenge
As the leaves begin to change and autumn arrives, it’s the perfect time to embrace the season, get outdoors, and challenge yourself. Step into Autumn is all about enjoying the beauty of October, boosting your wellbeing, and making every step count for children and families supported by Alder Hey Children’s Charity.
The Challenge
Step into the season by completing 150km throughout October in a way that suits your lifestyle. That’s an average of just 5km a day, and you can complete it in whatever way works best for you. Enjoy crisp autumn walks, weekend adventures, or simply fit your kilometres into your everyday routine. However you choose to take part, the challenge is completely flexible.
Because it’s a virtual challenge, you can join from anywhere. Fit it around work, family life and everyday commitments, then complete your kilometres wherever you choose.
Every kilometre counts. Every donation matters.
How It Works
Simply sign up, set up your fundraising page, and start moving throughout October. Track your progress, share your journey with friends, family and fellow challengers, and raise money to support Alder Hey Children’s Charity’s vital work.
We’ll be with you every step of the way, providing fundraising tips, motivation, wellbeing advice and regular encouragement to help you reach your goals.
As you reach fundraising milestones, you’ll unlock exclusive challenge merchandise and rewards. Better still, there’s no fundraising limit, so there’s always another reward to aim for.
Whether you’re taking on your first virtual challenge or returning for another, you’ll be joining an incredible community of supporters all making a difference together.
Why Take Part?
Every step you take helps Alder Hey Children’s Charity continue to go above and beyond for children and young people receiving care at Alder Hey.
Your fundraising supports specialist equipment, pioneering research, enhanced facilities and the extra touches that make hospital life brighter for children and their families when they need it most. We call this the Alder Hey magic.
At the same time, you’ll improve your own health and wellbeing while helping create brighter futures for children across the region and beyond.
Your challenge. Their future.
How Can I Get Involved?
Everyone is welcome. Individuals, families, schools, workplaces and community groups can all take part.
Challenge yourself, team up with friends or enter as a group. Encourage one another, celebrate your achievements and enjoy the journey together.
Sign up today and Step into Autumn with us by taking on 150km this October. Together, let’s go the distance for Alder Hey.
