Sports Kit Sponsorship

Wear our logo and make a difference at Alder Hey

Our kit sponsorship scheme gives junior sports teams the chance to partner with Alder Hey Children’s Charity for a season or more.

This mutually beneficial scheme provides junior sports teams with a free kit whilst helping Alder Hey Children’s Charity support the 450,000 children and families treated at Alder Hey every year.

Get involved and help to ensure a healthier, fairer and happier future for all of our children.

How does it work?

  • Alder Children’s Charity are offering junior sports teams a kit sponsorship in return for choosing us as your chosen charity of the year.
  • Alder Hey Children’s Charity will pay for a full team sports kit up to £250 with our charity logo on the front (your design, our logo)
  • Your team agree to raise a £1000 for Alder Hey Children’s Charity during the course of the season
  • Additional kits and items can be purchased with the following agreed commitment.
  • Please see below for a breakdown of Charity contribution for kits and then how much the team must therefore commit to raising for Alder Hey over the season:

£250 = £1000+

£500 = £2000+

£750 = £3000+

£1000 = £4000+

What do I need to do to take part?

  • If you run or are involved in a junior sports team and are interested in getting involved in the scheme, please email community@alderheycharity.org
  • We will then send you a short form/agreement to complete and return
  • If you have a kit supplier, we will provide you with our charity logo
  • If you don’t have a kit supplier, we will provide you with a list of suppliers
  • Once your kit is ordered we will pay the invoice
  • During the next 12 months the team as a collective raise £1000 (or agreed fundraising commitment).

How to raise £1000 or your committed amount

There are a huge number of ways that your team can easily raise £1000 during the course of a season. To get you going here are just a handful of fundraising ideas:

  • Hold a charity football match
  • Climb Moel Famau/Snowdon as a team building exercise (other hills and mountains are available!)
  • Run a last man standing competition
  • Hold a raffle at your awards evening
  • Get a couple/group of parents to run a 10K, half marathon or marathon
  • Do a bake sale at home games
  • Put some collection boxes in your local pubs and shops
  • Ask additional sponsors to support your club and Alder Hey Children’s Charity.

However, you decide to fundraise we can provide advice and helpful resources such as collection boxes, banners, stickers, posters, running vests.
