Bring Christmas Magic to Alder Hey
This Christmas, your donation to Alder Hey Children’s Charity will provide thoughtful gifts for children and young people visiting or staying at Alder Hey over the festive season.
Your Gift Could Provide
£7 – A gift for a baby
Some babies will spend their very first Christmas at Alder Hey. Your donation could provide a cuddly toy, cot mobile or soft blanket to make their day warm and comforting.
£12 – A gift for a young child
Christmas is such a magical time for little ones. Although nothing replaces home, your gift could bring joy with a board game, sensory toy or craft kit to brighten their Christmas morning.
£24 – A gift for a teenager
Christmas in hospital can feel lonely for teens who miss their friends and routines. Your donation could provide a new book, self-care toiletries or a voucher for their favourite shop to help them feel more like themselves.
£41 – A Christmas Ward Kit
Help fill a whole ward with games, crafts and shared activities so children can experience the magic of Christmas together.
Make a difference for children like Mila

When Mila was one, she was diagnosed with a brain tumour. She spent almost a year at Alder Hey recovering from surgery, undergoing chemotherapy and learning to walk and talk. Mila and her family spent Christmas in hospital that year, but charity support helped to make it magical, her mum, Martina, said:
“Everyone at Alder Hey made us feel so special. What should have been such a difficult time was made so much more manageable and magical.”
This year, thanks to the expert care from Alder Hey, Mila will spend Christmas at home with her family, but she will never forget the magical Christmas she spent in hospital, and the kindness and generosity that was shown to her
No child should have to spend Christmas in hospital, but when they need to, your kindness can make sure they still feel the joy, excitement and magic of the season.
Your support today will make a difference for the more than 40,000 children and young people cared for at Alder Hey over the festive period.
Thank you for helping us make Christmas magical.
