| Hi, I’m Lauren! I started at Alder Hey Children’s Charity as Christmas cover over 10 years ago. I loved it that much that I never left, and I’m now the Operations & People Team Leader. One of my favourite parts of the job is giving tours to new starters and visitors. Seeing that spark of excitement as they discover the charity’s impact across the hospital, and realise they’re about to become part of it, never gets old. Outside of work, I’m juggling life with a cute-yet-crazy toddler alongside running my branding and graphic design business. A fun fact? I had a pet snowy owl called Enzo in my late teens. School “show and tell” was never a problem. Together is the value that resonates with me most. Over the years, I’ve met some of the most inspiring people through my role: colleagues, patients, families, fundraisers and Trust staff alike. Every one of them plays a part in making Alder Hey Children’s Charity such a special place. |
