Donor Relations Officer, £20,000 to £25,000

Alder Hey Children's Charity is seeking to appoint a Donor Relations Officer to join our dynamic Charity team.

The Donor Relations Officer will support the charity’s ambitions to grow our income. You will help develop and deliver a comprehensive programme of tailored cultivation and stewardship activities that will engage and retain donors to Alder Hey Children’s Charity.

As part of a small, but highly effective team, you will help develop a new supporter experience strategy which will ensure that we engage, recognise, thank and demonstrate the impact of donations to Alder Hey in the most effective way.

Your work will help us to inspire our donors to make further donations to support equipment, research and play activities to benefit our young patients. This role will be based at Alder Hey Hospital in Liverpool.

Alder Hey Children's Charity is seeking to appoint a Trusts, Foundations and Research Officer to join our dynamic Charity team.

Trusts, Foundations and Major Gifts play a crucial role in supporting Alder Hey, and currently contribute around £2.5m to Alder Hey Children’s Charity annually. The successful candidate will work with the team to identify new prospects, as well as managing a portfolio of both new and existing Trusts and Foundations.

You will be able to write high-quality, detailed and targeted proposals and applications to new and existing trusts and foundations, using persuasive and impactful language to develop a powerful case for support. You will have the tact, diplomacy and communication skills to build and manage great relationships with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders. The donations you secure will help to improve the lives of the children in our care. The role will be based at Alder Hey Children’s Hospital in Liverpool.
