What is the Big Give?
The Big Give is a registered charity (1136547) and the UK's #1 match funding platform. They specialise in bringing charities, philanthropists and the public together to multiply their impact and donations. The Big Give has raised over £156m for thousands of great causes through the power of match funding.
How does the Big Give work?
The Big Give started at 12pm on Tuesday 30 November, with every online donation made to Alder Hey DOUBLED at no extra cost. The campaign finished at 12pm today - Tuesday the 7th of December. That mean's that for every £10 donated to us via The Big Give website during that period, £20 will go towards helping our tiny patients. One donation, twice the impact.
Who is our match fund partner?
In order to double donations, we have partnered with Candis Group. Candis Club & Magazine have offered to match the funding from our supporters donations. All money raised during Big Give week will go towards our Surgical Neonatal Appeal.
How do I know my donation has been doubled?
Only online donations could be doubled, and they must of been done via The Big Give platform. You can visit our The Big Give page by clicking here to see how much money we raised.
