Trusts, foundations and major donors
Over the last 30 years charitable trusts and foundations and major donors have helped to develop world-class facilities at Alder Hey Children’s Hospital.
Support from charitable trusts, foundations and major gifts plays a vital role in helping us to lead at the forefront of paediatric healthcare; around 25% of our income comes from generous grant-makers and philanthropists and without this support, we simply would not be able to make patient experience at Alder Hey Children’s Hospital the very best it can be.
Big gifts make a huge difference
Donations we receive from major donors, charitable trusts and foundations are absolutely essential; they not only support us now, but also allow us to plan ahead and invest in innovative projects that shape, influence and improve the world-class care and treatment we give our young patients.
Your support enables us to:
- Invest in ground-breaking research into chronic illnesses
- Buy specialist equipment that helps to diagnose and treat complex conditions
- Fund arts and music programmes that inspire, educate and equip children and young people
- Create state-of-the-art family facilities that look after mums, dads and siblings as well as our young patients
Your support ensures that no matter what challenges our young patients face, we can give them best care and treatment possible.
