Have the best fun running a MoRun this November. Our MoRuns take place across the UK in support Movember. Take on the 5k, 10k, half marathon or get the kids running the 1.5k mini MoRun. Dress up, paint on a Mo, laugh, smile and support this amazing cause. You can raise funds, donate or just run! Whatever you do we would love you to join us!
The Movember Run is a great race for anyone that wants to challenge themselves and improve their physical fitness whilst also having loads of fun at the same time. Can I run the Movember Run for Alder Hey?
A great way of staying motivated when training is to raise money for charity at the same time. Why not help Alder Hey Children’s Charity to continue their lifesaving work by simply setting up a Virgin Giving or Justgiving page? Once this is done, you can share the plans for your run on your social channels and ask friends and family to contribute as you train for your big day. How much does it cost to run the Movember run?
Entries to the Movember Run vary but are usually: MiniMo Entry - £12.00 5k Entry - £20.00, 10K Entry - £22.00. All runners will receive instant race results thanks to the chip timing technology, headbands and buffs with the Movember Run logo and professional photos to view and purchase. Don’t miss out!
Do I need to train for the Movember Run?
It is advised that a fair bit of training is completed before the race day, if you are new to running. If you are an inexperienced runner that is taking on the 5k challenge, it might be worth completing the distance before the race so that you know you can confidently reach the finish. Experienced runners should also ensure they are in good health, without any injuries before completing either the 5k or 10k races. Children completing the MiniMo 1.5 distance should be supervised by an adult.
