Leeds Half Marathon
The Leeds Half Marathon
Yorkshire’s biggest and probably loudest event of its kind. Jane herself was proud to start the race back in 2003.
The much-loved run raises hundreds of thousands of pounds for charity every year and often attracts more than 7,500 runners.
But what makes it special is the crowds. Support for runners along the route is always phenomenal, whatever the weather. Every participant will get a boost from the words of encouragement they receive.
Like all our events, the Leeds Half attracts runners of all abilities and ages. With a fantastically vibrant atmosphere guaranteed, this run could be right up your street.
So get yourself to Leeds and let's see you on the start line.
Raising money for Alder Hey
Here at Alder Hey, we couldn’t do half of our amazing work without people like you raising money for the children’s charity. Running a half marathon for charity is a great way to fundraise for a fantastic cause as it not only helps us to continue our amazing work but also allows you to improve your fitness in the process. There’s no better feeling than completely smashing a fitness challenge – except when you raise money for charity in the process, as well! If you would like to complete the fantastic Aintree half marathon by raising money for Alder Hey you can head to our run for charity hub which contains a whole host of information about how you can begin your fundraising journey for Alder Hey and really make a difference to the lives of children all over the UK. Our website also contains information about how you can set up a JustGiving page to ensure all of your donations are sent directly to Alder Hey. So, what are you waiting for?!
