The Colour Run Liverpool is taking place on 20th July 2019 and is a super fun challenge for all the family. This powdered run combines the crazy fun of colour with obstacles throughout the course, making it an event to remember in every way! The course is designed to include all ages so it’s not only a great day out for the whole family but also a fantastic way to get fundraising for a great cause. How far is The Colour Run Liverpool?

The obstacle rush spans a distance of 5 kilometres, so, if you are looking to do a Liverpool 5k colour run, then this is a great one to choose, as the obstacles involved make it an extra challenge! Not only this, but The Colour Run Liverpool brings 20 music zones and a chill-out oasis to relax in post-race! When you take part in The Colour Obstacle run Liverpool, you’re not just doing a 5K run, you’re having a the day out of a lifetime! How much does The Colour Run cost?

The Colour Obstacle Run costs £44.50 for a standard single entry with 10% discount for all teams of four or more. Your colour run race entry includes your admission, an event t-shirt, a personal colour packet, an official finisher medal, a fun pre-workout and admission to the amazing finish line festival. Although The Colour Run Liverpool is suitable for all abilities, children must be at least 12 years old to enter and any children under 16 must take part in the company of an adult.

What do I wear to The Colour Run?

You will be provided with a white t-shirt when you have registered and entered the colour run and by the end it will have been covered in all of the colours of the rainbow! It’s also advised that participants wear sensible walking/running shoes and comfortable clothing to complete the five-kilometre distance. With the race taking part in July, you may want to run in shorts and bring a hat and plenty of water for the day.

Training for The Colour Run Liverpool 

If you enjoy running regularly, then 5k probably requires little training, but if you’re new to running, it’s advised that you cover the 5k distance a couple of times beforehand so that you are prepared for what’s to come! Ensure you’re hydrated and well fuelled on energy releasing food such as nuts and pasta and most importantly, enjoy yourself!
