This doesn't mean our running heroes can't support us, we know how amazing you are and how hard you work for us, so we have our Million Miles Challenge, a virtual run that you can do whenever and wherever you can – and every step you run counts. What better way to get into the Christmas spirit than wearing a Santa suit (complete with beard) and raising money for Alder Hey in the process?
The next Santa Dash will be taking place on the streets of Liverpool on Sunday 2nd December 2018, at 9.30am, and it needs you! As well as the 5k Santa Dash, there will also be a mini 1K event so that younger runners can also take part – more information about that can be found here.
We’d love for anyone considering taking part in the event to don their Santa suits (red or blue) and run on behalf of Alder Hey Children’s Charity! To run for us, visit the BTR Liverpool website and sign up as normal. Once you’ve done this, please email Alder Hey or call our charity team on 0151 252 5716. When you have let us know you’ll be running for Alder Hey, we will send you a special fundraising pack, including a green Alder Hey Santa hat that you can wear with pride around the course!
