How can regular donations make a difference?
A charity monthly donation, no matter how big or small, makes a huge difference to the children and families at Alder Hey Children’s Hospital. By choosing to give a regular gift, our supporters are collectively making an incredible difference to children’s lives as we build a bright and happy future for our young patients. Alder Hey Charity relies on donations to ensure that we can go above and beyond in providing the latest life-saving equipment and cutting-edge technology to treat children who need our expert care right now. Signing up for a charity Direct Debit for Alder Hey is a fantastic way to stand side by side with us to help children and young people. As well as equipment and innovation, your regular charity donations can help towards making our hospital as child-friendly and welcoming to the families who are experiencing the anxiety and worry of caring for a poorly child. Words cannot express our gratitude to everyone who submits a charity monthly donation for Alder Hey – you are making a huge difference to the lives of our brave, young patients.
Why does it matter if I give regular charity donations?
Regular donations and longer-term donations are more cost-effective when it comes to giving to charity, as it reduces our administrative and bank charges when donations are given from the same place, on a regular basis. Whilst you are under absolutely no obligation to give a regular gift to charity, if we know we have a steady stream of monthly donations it helps us to plan for future projects, knowing that we have the money to go above and beyond for our patients. We know that our amazing hospital colleagues and inspiring families join us in thanking everyone that chooses to give regular charity donations to Alder Hey Children’s Charity.
How will my money be spent?
On our website, you will find lots of information about where how your regular donations help. You can read the amazing stories from patients in our care and see exactly what a difference is made by the money that you give. From buying state of the art equipment for patient care to conducting research into rare and life-threatening illnesses, we rely on donations from the general public. If you can spare even just a few pounds a month, together we can make the biggest difference.
