We have two Appeals running right now and we are asking for support for both.
Alder Hey is dedicated to going the extra mile to support the physical and mental health of every brave young patient who needs us. We pride ourselves on a child-centred approach and support the whole family to give their child the best start in life, from birth to early adulthood. Every penny raised through Alder Hey Charity’s current appeals will deliver access to the best possible equipment and facilities, above and beyond what is available on our hard-working NHS.
From keeping poorly tiny babies close to their loved ones, to providing a home from home for young people with complex and enduring mental health conditions, the difference you can make is amazing.
Join us to help create brighter futures for children by supporting our latest appeals today. Click on the images below to find out more about each appeal.
7in10 Children's Mental Health Appeal
7 out of 10 children and young people who experience a mental health condition in the UK have not had appropriate interventions at a sufficiently early age. Our 7in10 Appeal is aiming to raise £3m in funds to enhance inpatient and Community mental health services at Alder Hey Children’s NHS Foundation Trust, enabling more children to access the treatment they need at the time they need it.
Surgical Neonatal Appeal
Our new appeal is for a state-of-the-art unit for newborn babies - and their families. The new Surgical NICU is a joint project between Alder Hey and Liverpool Women’s NHS Foundation Trust. The unit will offer 22 neonatal cots and will feature 18 individual family rooms where parents can be alongside their poorly new-borns whilst they’re receiving expert care.
