What’s the best thing about working for Alder Hey Charity?

The fact that every single day is different, and you never quite know what to expect!

What’s one thing you can’t live without?

My dog! Her name is Bonnie and she is a Cockapoo. Our favourite place to go for walks is along Otterspool Promenade. We love it there as it can be so calm and peaceful to walk along the water.

Tell us something about yourself that not many people know?

I am fully qualified in British Sign Language (BSL)!

What’s the strangest way you have seen somebody fundraise for Alder Hey?

We once had a couple who drove from London to Lisbon in a Ford KA which was decorated as a duck! (They were also dressed as ducks!)

What’s your favourite fundraising event?

The Coniston Challenge! It’s a great team event which is always popular and such fun for everyone involved! I would encourage people to sign up to the Coniston Challenge because it’s a great challenge for any group of people. You can take part as a group of friends, a family or a group of work colleagues and spend some quality time together whilst raising money for Alder Hey!
