Run the Colour Rush, a great colour run for Alder Hey Children's Charity.
Colourful, fun and full of music and dancing, the Colour Obstacle Rush is one of the biggest 5K charity runs in the UK. Originally conceived in Finland, this obstacle race has become a popular event across Europe and the US, and combines the fun of colour runs, with the challenge of obstacles and, according to their website, the atmosphere of a music festival.
Featuring 20 obstacles, eight colour stations and 20 music zones, this is a great event to take part in with friends or colleagues or members of your family (minimum age for the event is 12 years old). While there are a number of Colour Obstacle Rush events across the UK, the Liverpool event takes place on Aintree racecourse and is easily accessible by public transport.
While Colour Rush is not a charity event, all runners are welcome to raise money for any charity they wish. Alder Hey Children's Hospital is only a short drive away from Aintree and we would love it if you chose us as your charity. Any money you raise will help pay for life-saving equipment, healthy eating education programmes and provide next-generation technology, so patents, families and staff can all benefit.
