Where is the Big Fun Run Liverpool?

The Big Fun Run takes place all over the country, with many people taking on the 5k challenge to raise money for charity.. This run is based in Liverpool’s Sefton Park, so runners can enjoy a day out in some of Liverpool’s most scenic gardens, whilst also taking on a challenge to improve their fitness. 

What is included in entry to the Big Fun Run?

As well as your race number and starter pack, entry also includes the Big Fun Run warm up which takes place in the park before the event, a finisher’s medal and a goody bag packed full of treats to re-fuel! The Big Fun Run is a fantastic experience for all involved and a really great way to have fun whilst raising money for charity.

Will I need to train for The Big Fun Run Liverpool?

If you are an experienced runner or have an average level of fitness due to exercising regularly, then it’s unlikely you’ll need a training programme for The Big Fun Run, as it is only 5K in distance. However, if this is a brand new challenge for you, you might want to cover a couple of miles leading up to the race, to prepare your body for the event. Don’t forget, the Big Fun Run is designed for all ages and abilities and is not a timed or competitive race, so if you would like to walk, that is absolutely fine! It is the taking part that counts, and everyone is welcome!

When is the event?

The date for the Big Fun Run 2020 is yet to be confirmed, along with entry prices. You can visit the Big Fun Run website, which will be updated soon with all of the information you need. Traditionally, the Big Fun Run in Sefton Park Liverpool takes place in late June, so be sure to dress in cool clothing and stay hydrated with plenty of water!
