A remarkable new film made by the Liverpool Chinatown Photographic Society captures our mascot Oli on a 100,000ft journey into space.
Volunteers from the society fitted GoPro cameras to a specially created balloon to capture the launch and ascent into space and once the balloon reached 100,000ft - almost as high as Austrian Felix Baumgartner's famous jump at supersonic speed in 2012 - it released a payload of handwritten well wishes to Alder Hey patients.
Watch Oli's remarkable trip to space and back above.
