THE CONISTON CHALLENGE 2018
Saturday 7th July 2018 ∙ Coniston, Lake District
“A truly unique and exhilarating experience”
Can you and your friends or colleagues conquer Coniston?
This is a triathlon with a twist - but you don't need to be a super athlete to participate, just get together with friends or work mates and enjoy a fabulous summer challenge in the beautiful Lake District.
On this fantastic team challenge (four or six people per team) you will scale the 803 metres of the Old Man of Coniston, pedal 17km of Grizedale Forest’s finest off trail bike tracks and kayak 3km across Coniston’s iconic Water.
Our Charity team will help you and your team to triumph over this unique challenge.
We’ll be with you every step of the way to assist you with fundraising ideas, and on the day we’ll provide you with everything you will need to complete the challenge including bikes, helmets, kayaks, breakfast, lunch and a well-deserved evening meal.
Camping pitches are available at John Ruskin School - our base for the weekend.
Registration fee - £50 per team
Minimum fundraising - £1,500 per team
All money raised will support the pioneering work at Alder Hey in the Park, and will improve the quality of life for not only the young people we see each year, but through innovations and research into childhood diseases, the quality of life for children across the world.
