Jo, mum of Alder Hey Ambassador Ted, has completed the 2018 Dulux Trade London Revolution - a 300 km bike ride around London over one weekend, raising vital funds for the children of Alder Hey.
Jo took on the challenge despite hardly any training due to weather (and pure laziness, she says!) but wanted to take on the trial as she strives to complete her 50 challenges before she hits 50 this year!
Jo said "All of this for Alder Hey Children’s Hospital who saved Ted’s life with emergency open heart surgery and who will continue to monitor and nurture him until he is 18. Alder Hey make such a difference to so many children around the world and with our help they will continue to ensure Alder Hey is one of the leading hospitals and research centres in the world".
In September Jo will be joining Team Ted members in a Tough Mudder event under the name of Not Fast But Furious - monkey bars, height activities, rope swings, mud, ice filled water and running, "My total idea of hell!" says Jo.
