With summer coming to an end and after a busy few months of events, the team at Alder Hey Children’s Charity wanted to share with you just what participating in our events can help to achieve.
A staggering £190,000 has been raised so far from all of the people who took part in our events, whether it was simply purchasing a ticket, entering a challenge or sponsoring a friend or family member, you have helped us to achieve amazing things.
So, from all of the children, families and staff at Alder Hey, a huge thank you!
Where your money will go
Every penny raised from events will help Alder Hey to support children around the world through vital research and innovation.
Built alongside Alder Hey’s brand new state-of the art hospital, the Institute in the Park has research, education and treatment facilities that no other UK or European children’s hospital can offer.
The facility places Alder Hey as an international leader in the development of safer and more effective medicines for children and young people. It's continued development will enable Alder Hey to become an international hub for healthcare innovation, developing new ground-breaking products, drugs and interventions that will transform the lives of children. It also allows us to deliver exciting training opportunities to enhance the skills and knowledge of those looking after the health of children and young people.
