Arrange a collection with our partner, Collect MyClothes.co.uk
Bag up your unwanted clothes and shoes, then you can log on to request a clothes collection at CollectMyClothes.co.uk and select Alder Hey Children's Charity as the charity you would like to support.
Their operators will then be in touch to agree a location, date and time for the clothes collection. Collections can be arranged from homes, places of work or you can even leave them outside as long as they stay safe and dry.
Alder Hey Children's Charity will then receive a set amount of £250 per ton collected (there is no cost to you or the charity). You will receive a receipt from their driver to prove that your items were successfully collected.
CollectMyClothes.co.uk can collect clothes, shoes, bags and belts (everything must be in re-wearable condition).

Goods will be recycled ethically, with most being sent to provide affordable clothing in Eastern Europe or Africa.
COLLECTMYCLOTHES.co.uk was set up to help our partner charities to raise additional funds, in a way which is convenient, transparent and does not involve setting up expensive high street shops or collections schemes.
Textile waste is responsible for 35% of the microplastics in the ocean (according to a report by the Institution of Mechanical Engineers) and according to WRAP approximately £140 million pounds worth of clothing is still sent to landfill each year. Our collections are arranged only when there are goods to be recycled; so no plastic bags are wasted, collection routes are more efficient and there is a reduced opportunity for fake charity collections and theft.
CollectMyClothes.co.uk is a trading name of Roberts Recycling Ltd, a family run business of third generation recyclers, who are registered with the Fundraising Regulator, members of the Charity Retail Association and the Textile Recyclers Association. So when using us, you can be sure of the highest ethical standards and industry practices.
After using our service, you can be proud that your goods, avoided landfill, generated income for a good cause and provided affordable clothing to poorer parts of the world.
