Nottingham Christmas Marathon & 10K
Run the Nottingham Christmas Marathon or 10K.
The Nottingham Christmas Marathon has grown from a winter marathon race to a whole running festival that includes the original marathon, half marathon, 10K, 5K and a family-friendly 1-mile fun run. Taking place at the National Water Sports Centre, this flat lap race is perfect for those looking to break their PBs. One lap is 5K and, with the course being on a flat tarmac course, it's a great race for both new and experienced runners.
As these races take place so close to Christmas, feel free to dress up in your favourite festive gear and get into the Christmas spirit. This is one of the most popular winter running events in and around the Nottingham area, so make sure you sign up quickly. If you need some help with training, then take a look at our running training guides.
Whether you are taking part in your first marathon or want to take part in the fun run with the family, why not give your race and all your training more purpose by raising money for Alder Hey Children’s Charity? We rely on runners like you to help us make Alder Hey Children's Hospital a world-leading facility. Whether you run the race on your own as part of a team, any money raised will help us get access to life-saving equipment, cutting edge technology and initiatives to help support our patients’ wellbeing.
