Working together to bring the magic of cinema to Alder Hey Children's Hospital
For the last ten years, members of the ITT have generously supported the children and young people who are cared for by Alder Hey Children’s Hospital.
Your support has made such a difference at Alder Hey, helping us to create magical, child-friendly spaces that change the world of our patients and their families.

However, there is still so much more that we can do. The money raised at this year’s conference will support our MediCinema Appeal, helping us to build a specially designed entertainment space and fully immersive cinema experience for our brave young patients. We know that by providing them with a fun and stimulating care environment they can thrive.
At Alder Hey, patients are at the heart of everything that we do, inspiring us to go above and beyond and make their hospital experience the best it can be. With this appeal, Alder Hey will set a new benchmark in patient care by being the first standalone paediatric hospital in England to provide a MediCinema.
A trip to the local cinema is something we take for granted – an experience that all the family can take part in. But it is something that many of our long-term patients are unable to experience due to their complex health issues. Our new cinema will give them “A Window to the World” alongside their families and friends, all from the comfort and safety of our hospital.
