Green Blitz Juice Recipe
Foodie Tip: The benefits of drinking green juice include antioxidants, calcium, iron, manganese, vitamins A and C and a huge host of nutrients.
This recipe makes 400ml of juice.
Preparation time: 10 minutes
Ingredients
- One whole apple (green or red) chopped into small pieces
- ¼ of a cucumber chopped
- One handful of kale
- One handful of spinach
- 150-200ml of water
- Ginger, lemon & celery – optional
Method
- Place all of the ingredients into a blender, along with the water. You can switch water for apple juice, if you want to a sweeter taste to your juice. Just remember, juice contains a lot of sugar and you will enjoy natural sugars from the fruit and veggies.
- Blend the ingredients together. You can add any of the optional ingredients to the mix, if you want your drink to have a kick!
