Charity Fun Races

Running for charity is a brilliant way to help raise awareness and support for a cause that is close to your heart.

If you’re fairly new to running for a charity, it would be best to start with a charity fun run until you can build up your confidence and stamina to challenge yourself to run a 5k charity run or 10k charity run, or even a marathon run for charity. Dressing up in funny costumes or applying glitter and face paint for a charity fun run definitely helps to bring a buzz of excitement around the fun charity event. Often the more hilarious and extraordinary the outfit, the more attention the media will pay to that particular fun run charity event, which helps to further the event’s reach and awareness of who they’re raising money and support for.

Once you have completed a charity fun run, you might want to work your way towards a 10k race, different kinds of fun charity events or a more social event, such as a festive Santa fun run. In fact there are Santa dashes taking place in almost every city in November and December. For more information, visit the official website: www.santadash.co.uk. Fun runs are a great excuse to get the family together and take part in an activity outdoors, whilst doing something good for the community.

Fun Charity Events

There are plenty of charity fun runs taking place across the country, many of which encourage participants of all ages to dress up and support a charity. If you’d like to take part in a fun run for charity you’ll need to find a race or event that you’d like to take part in and sign up in advance to guarantee a place. Charity fun runs are very popular and registration is often open well in advance.
