All workouts are held over on our Instagram page @alderhey_inspired, and all exercises are body weight only, so no excuses not to join in! Classes are free but anyone that wants to make a donation can do so by heading over to our bootcamp JustGiving page.

Virtual Run - #RunSoloAH

Here at Alder Hey Children’s Charity we’re a social bunch and usually love to #runtogether with you all but  lots of fundraising events have been postponed or cancelled, hitting your challenges and fundraising efforts. So we have found the ultimate solution - do your running events by running daily from home, add it up, and still hit your targets! We will send you a running box so you can wear our vest and help raise funds for Alder Hey! Win/Win #RunSoloAH Sign up  here. Everyone who completes a run gets a medal!

Donate a Day in The Life

For those people currently adapting to working from home, have you worked out how much you are currently saving by doing so?

When you add your daily petrol/fares to and from work to your coffees, snacks and lunch it adds up to a significant amount. If you then take in a gym class or watch your subscription sports channel in the evening, you will likely have had your membership fees frozen for a while and your daily savings increase further.

You can donate one typical days lockdown savings to Alder Hey Children's Charity. All money raised go directly towards supporting our fantastic frontline NHS team here at Alder Hey Children's Hospital.

Bike Solo for Alder Hey

Join our fantastic team of fundraisers and support our amazing NHS staff by signing up for our #BikeSoloAH challenge and adding up your daily kms to complete your distance. You can use a static bike at home or get out and about on a regular bike – the choice is yours.

First pick your distance…for example..

• 50km
• 100km

Or really challenge yourself with this one...

• Alder Hey to Paris – 344km

Then sign up here - everyone who completes their distance gets a medal!

This is becoming a very popular option! And we think you will love it too!

Support our amazing NHS colleagues by NOT getting away from it all and having a night or two #IsolationStaycation in your back garden (or living room)?

Get the firepit out (no, not in the lounge - stay safe please), toast some marshmallows, put on some tunes and enjoy the fresh air safely in the garden! Do NOT invite friends or neighbours. Or your smelly cousins! Choose a pitch to suit your taste - we don't all like sleeping on grass - get the children involved and have a great night or two. Sign up here and then get planning your break!

Hair Raising!

Is  your barber's or hairdresser's closed? Hair getting out of hand? Want to raise some money for Alder Hey Children’s Charity?

If you said yes to all of the above, why not take part in our brand new Hair Raising fundraising event? Is so easy...

• Get some clippers
• Set up an online giving page (e.g. JustGiving)
• Get someone who you are isolating with to shave your hair/beard
• Record it and upload to social media using the hashtag #HairRaisingAH
• Send in your photos of your before and after shots so we can share too!

Head/beard shaves can raise a significant amount of money but only if your friends and family know about it. Make sure you are telling EVERYONE you know to raise as much as possible for Alder Hey Children’s Charity.

During this time at home let's remember the good old days when you would put on your school uniform and head to school. For one day let’s reverse the school ‘dress down day’ and have a ‘uniform day’ for Alder Hey!You can can do this on your daily walk or exercise time to see everyone’s reaction at seeing u in your school uniform.

To take part in this challenge we ask that you donate the money you would have spent on lunch and snacks at school or college on just one day.
