DESCRIPTION:We are looking for thrill-seeking fundraisers from all over the country to take on a sponsored freefall parachute jump whilst raising invaluable funds for Alder Hey Children’s Charity! \nThis exciting challenge is for one day only! This will take place at Black Knights Parachute Centre in Cockerham Lancaster. \nAll you need to do to take part for Alder Hey Children’s Charity is click the registration button on this page. There is a £50 deposit to secure your place. You have to commit to raising a minimum of £400 in sponsorship. £200 needs to of been received two weeks before your jump. \nWithout the support of charitable donations from our fantastic supporters\, many of the outstanding facilities and innovations at Alder Hey could not be achieved. \nYour help and fundraising is vital in helping us continue our work. Please email community@alderheycharity.org to be added to the list.\n\nMount Kilimanjaro is a magnet for trekkers the world over and one of the most impressive charity events on offer. \nIts snow-capped summit rises high above the dusty African plains; huge permanent glaciers flow down from the summit\, spectacular views and beautiful ice formations are the reward for pushing our limits both physically and mentally on this\, the mightiest of charity challenges. \nThis 11 day trek which follows the beautiful Machame Route\, approaching Kilimanjaro from the south. Our route has been designed allowing gradual acclimatisation to the altitude – with an extra day included from the more traditional Machame Route\, this gives us the platform for summit success.  With our exceptional support and care combined with highly trained leaders and medics\, we will achieve and conquer the toughest of treks together as one. \nOur trek takes us through dense tropical rainforest\, moorland and scree until we reach Uhuru Peak\, the highest point. This is one of the most challenging charity treks at altitude\, climbing one of the most impressive mountains in the world. On reaching the summit we will feel a sense of overwhelming achievement – a truly unforgettable charity challenge with exceptional support and encouragement. \nRegistration: £299 \nMinimum Fundraising: £5500
