Bikes: For your own comfort, we recommend using your own bike. Most suitable will be a gravel or mountain bike for this event. As the route has long sections of off road, a road bike or hybrid would not be suitable. Full suspension bikes aren’t recommended as they will be slower on the road sections and there are a few gates to negotiate.
Bike hire: A small number of bikes are available to hire at an additional cost of £45. Following registration, a link to bike hire companies will be sent enabling you to make your booking, if there is availability. Once all bikes have been allocated you will need to use your own bike.
