Emergency Appeal

Right now, the NHS is under severe strain and our amazing NHS staff and volunteers are working tirelessly to be able to continue to support our current patients and those with COVID-19.

As more pressure is placed on the NHS we have adapted and are treating children at Alder Hey who would normally go to other hospital. To enable this the hospital has tripled its intensive care capacity to ensure it is able to support the region’s most seriously ill children. The hospital's incredible staff are going above and beyond to guarantee patients receive the care they need and deserve in these most difficult times.

We urgently need to support the hospital in whatever way we can as it copes with the current crisis. It is dealing with an unpredictable and evolving situation, and the charity is reacting quickly to the hospital's requirements on a daily basis.

Many of our fundraising activities, challenges, runs and events have been cancelled or postponed indefinitely so it is critical we find alternative ways to continue to raise money to help us support the hospital now and ensure that the ongoing needs of our patients continue to be met through this immediate crisis and beyond.

The current situation does not alter our dedication in supporting the 330,000 children treated at Alder Hey every single year and our determination to fund a variety of important projects in 2020 remains unchanged. Once again with your help we can do this. Together we can do this.

Please give what you can to help today: DONATE.

    • Specialist care remotely across different sites for complex clinical cases ensuring patients continue to get the treatment they need
    • Specialist medical equipment
