Bikes: For your own comfort, we recommend using your own bike. Most suitable will be a gravel or mountain bike for this event. As the route has long sections of off road, a road bike or hybrid would not be suitable. Full suspension bikes aren’t recommended as they will be slower on the road sections and there are a few gates to negotiate.
Bike hire: We have a very limited number of bikes available to hire. If you require bike hire please select the option at registration and a separate link will be emailed to you to book.

Camping: Available at John Ruskin School (optional)
- Friday from 4.30pm to Sunday until 11am
- Using own tents or motorhome & equipment
- £15 per tent/motorhome per night
Fitness: To make the day more enjoyable we recommend plenty of training beforehand.
Teams come back year after year to beat their personal bests. We’d love you to join them.
