#JoinUsJoinIn
Generous support of our charity is changing lives every day here at Alder Hey Children’s Hospital.
Our fantastic hospital relies on donations to Alder Hey Children’s Charity so that it can continue to fund life-changing research for all of the patients in its care. Alder Hey Children’s Hospital is the best place to deliver the highest quality research and by donating, you can also become a part of it. With an aim to become a world class centre for research, innovation and education, we encourage everyone to donate whatever they can to Alder Hey’s cause, whether that’s through a fundraising event, a virtual run or a regular donation.
Throughout our long history, Alder Hey Children’s Hospital has remained at the forefront for children’s health research and the thriving research portfolio has been developed in partnership with a number of NHS academic and commercial partners. These include the university of Liverpool, Liverpool John Moore’s University, Lancaster University and Edge Hill University. Alder Hey’s Children’s Charity’s main aim is to ensure that the hospital’s research remains relevant and meaningful for both our children and families as well as healthcare professionals.
At Alder Hey, we work with cutting edge technology that needs constant funding to be the best that it can be. The exciting projects that we work on will not only improve our treatments for patients but will also work to ensure our hospital is the best place it can be for the patients and families in our care. In order to drive our pioneering out of the labs and onto the wards, your donations are vital. As a result, we invite you to become a part of our research community to help us in saving young lives every day.
At Alder Hey, our research strategy is key, and you can donate to help this to continue to thrive. There are many ways that you can donate to Alder Hey Children’s Charity, whether that’s by challenging yourself alone on a virtual run, taking part in a fundraising event or making corporate donations through your business, workplace or company. By heading over to our ‘Run for Charity’ hub, you can browse through the different events available that will not only keep you active but contribute to the work of our outstanding hospital. Unfortunately, due to the current COVID-19 pandemic, a lot of our annual fundraising events and charity runs are not able to go ahead. However, we still rely wholeheartedly on your generous donations, so encourage people to fundraise virtually or simply just give what they can by heading to our donations page.
